Two years?! Dang gina, I definitely didn't think it would go by as fast as everyone says. I remember before my mission when I met someone new and they said they have been home for 2 years I thought, "Dang, you are old!" Ha ha, well now I'm in that same old boat. I came home on February 8, 2008 and I thought it was a pretty good date to get kicked out of Hong Kong and have to come home. It was the first day of Chinese New Years, and I got it TWICE. I left Hong Kong on the 8th and arrived in the States on the 8th, back in time.(My family didn't even see me get off the plane, I could've walked right past them, or turned around and hopped back on the plane!)
Like Elder Holland, there has not a day gone by that I have not thought about my mission, the friendships I made, the lessons I learned, the crazy stories that happened everyday, the Chinese people trying to play football, and so much more goodness. China Hong Kong was the place I needed to grow and learn more about our Savior Jesus Christ and my Heavenly Father. I am definitely a better person, or so I hope for spending time serving the Lord. Ever since I have gotten home, I have tried to be a good member missionary. I have created another blog for ideas and suggestions and experiences of missionary work we do as members. http://howtobeamembermissionary.blogspot.com/
I hope you will add your ideas, experiences, and suggestions as well as I am needing help on how to to be better!
