Highlights from 2009

Tonight is New Years Eve and I'm at home staying in from the freeeezing weather here. Of course, this time of year makes you reflect back on the year. I had a great year and did many, many things. I wanted to share the highlights from this past year with all of your.

1.  My two little brothers and I got to go to BYU together.

2.  My little brother got his mission call to Italy and I was able to eat with him every week at the MTC!

3. I know, I know, a mini triathlon is supposed to be a piece of cake right? Well, it was pretty rough, but I never stopped until the end. Huge accomplishment for me!

4. I took my sister back to my mission in China Hong Kong and we went to the Philippines to visit one of my Kasamas.

I got to see the majority of the missionaries I was able to teach in the MTC. This is the angel district. It was an all sister district, very rare.

Yes I ate chicken feet and I actually enjoyed it. I even got my sister to eat some :)

On the harbor in HK with my friends.

We went to Oceans Park.

I got to eat my favorite crab curry! Talk about delicious and messy!

These above 4 pictures are in Cebu, Bacolod City, and Bohol, Philippines. That is the Cebu temple, which will be dedicated next year :)
Kasama and I on the beach in Bohol.
Beach in Cebu-Lapu Lapu-GORGEOUS!
Visiting Kasama's family in Negros-Bacolod City. Wow that was an experience...story later :)

5. Another highlight is going to Washington, D.C. for my last semester of BYU. Simply Amazing.

This is our elementary school we taught at.

Okay, so we might have taken the Costco Shopping cart a couple blocks, up the elevator 12 floors and all the way down the hall. Became almost a weekly routine!

And to top off my DC experience, the Christmas Tree at the Capitol was from, yes you guessed it...my small town AZ. It's my tree!!

6. Last but not least, I GRADUATED FROM BYU!!

I am excited for 2010, only 2 more hours! A new beginning, new goals, new miracles, new friends to make, new jobs, new places to go visit.

I wish all of your luck and I hope all your dreams come true. Don't forget to look for the miracles that are all around you everyday. I hope all of you will make some resolutions and GO BIG this next year!!
